The need for additional support in the classroom is higher than ever Academics are eager to hear from those who have experience of working with children with additional needs, and have a passion to make a difference to a child's education who are looking for their next 1:1 Teaching Assistant role. The role will be working with primary aged children, with hours and days to suit you. Whether this is ad-hoc, part time/full time or long term. A Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning / Early Years Educator or similar would be a bonus but isn't required. We want someone who has relevant experience, excellent behaviour management and varied techniques to ensure the engagement of the child and to help them to progress towards expected attainment levels. Enhanced DBS on the update service would be beneficial, however we can help assist you in getting this. The ideal 1:1 Teaching Assistant will have experience with any of the following: SEMH EBSD and challenging behaviour, ASD, Learning difficulties (dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, global delay) Physical difficulties.
