Term Time Only Required immediately Sydenham High School is seeking to appoint an Assistant Examinations Officer / Attendance and Cover Officer to play a key role ensuring exams are administered efficiently, as well as managing staff and student attendance, and providing cover for absent teachers. Their key responsibilities will include: Carrying out all administration connected with exams Assisting in the management of student and staff absence in the school Supervising lessons in the absence of teachers, including registration, distribution of set work, and assisting pupils where possible The ideal candidate will need experience of working in a school and examinations environment and will also require good administration skills. This role is a full-time position, Monday to Friday during term time with additional days being worked in the Summer Holidays. It is essential that the post holder is available to work as and when needed for examinations purposes, especially during the month of August (from A level results until the end of August), in order to process examination results.
