Office Manager / Operations Manager Essex (Harlow / Ongar / Brentwood / Chelmsford) Excellent remuneration dependant on experience Full time / Permanent role Immediate Start We are working with an ambitious and growing organisation that is looking for a strong Office Manager / Operations Manager to assist the company with its growth, operations, compliance and admin. This is a hands-on role, so the ideal candidate will be happy to perform the duties required to ensure the smooth operation of the company. Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Office Manager / Operations Manager: ISO Compliance – this would require you to liaise with the external consultant to ensure the company has the necessary compliance processes and procedures documented to ensure full compliance. Once certified this will also require you to maintain the company’s compliance with the ISO requirements for auditing purposes. Assist Management Team with client queries on existing contracts and ensure prompt resolution. Ensure the office is fully stocked (teas, coffees, stationary etc). Assisting project team with ensuring the projects files are up to date and providing documentation to your internal / external customers as requested. Assist in the creation and issuing of Risk Assessments and Method Statements for the projects. Organising PAT Testing of equipment for the whole company. Manage all engineer related supplier contracts for vehicles, servicing, H&S checks, qualification renewals and anything else required to ensure their H&S and compliance. Assist in the management of sub-contract labour as and when required. Assist the organisation with any other requirements to ensure the smooth running of the operation. Management of holiday system. Inputting POs into SAGE Office Manager / Operations Manager Candidate Profile: Experience in managing ISO process (essential). Implementation of ISO (essential). We are looking for at least 5 years experience within a similar role at Office Manager / Operations Manager level. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to troubleshoot. Highly organised. Flexible and adaptable. Knowledge of Sage or similar system H&S Qualification such as IOSH (desirable but not essential) This Office Manager / Operations Manager role is ideal for someone who is looking to have a varied role and be able to influence the organisation at an operational level.
