Prospectus are excited to be working with War Child UK to help them recruit for a Supporter Care and Individual Giving Assistant to join their team. War Child was founded in 1993 by filmmakers David Wilson and Bill Leeson, along with social entrepreneur Willemijn Verloop, who were horrified by the violence and ethnic cleansing they witnessed in Bosnia. They work to protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children living through conflict and go to the hardest to reach places to support them. War Child delivers their vital work in five countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East to protect, educate and stand up for the rights of children in war. This role is offered on a full-time permanent basis paying £25,000 per annum with flexible hybrid working arrangements at their London office. As the first point of contact for many prospective new donors and supporters, this role is critical to delivering an excellent supporter experience which leads to a fulfilling and long-term relationship with War Child UK. The post holder will play a vital part in supporting the Individual Giving Manager with the delivery and analysis of a range of Individual Giving appeals and communications. They will be responsible for many of the administrative duties for the Individual Giving and Challenge Event & Community functions. The post holder will also carry out other general administrative tasks for the wider Supporter Engagement team as needed, such as processing invoices and supporting other team members with the procurement process. They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience in delivering high quality customer or supporter care using phone and email that informs, motivates and inspires others. They are looking for a candidate who is experienced in carrying out administrative tasks and processes, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office. The ideal candidate should be able to articulate and promote War Child's aims, mission, policies and work.
