Simple recruitment are looking for a PA to the Archdeacon for our client based in Stourpaine to join their team on a permanent basis. What will you be doing? Manage the diaries for the Archdeacon of Sherborne and Dorset as they require. Minute Taking Help to manage the office tasks in conjunction with of the Bishops PA Co-ordinate Clergy reviews using information supplied by South Canonry Archdeacon’s Triennial Visitations Archdeacons’ Visitations Churchwarden conferences Trustees’ training DAC Faculties, List B permissions & temporary re-ordering certificates Archdeacons correspondence Commonwealth War Graves Commission sign applications Quinquennial reports for churches and clergy property Organisation of Rural Dean’s lunches: (held four times a year per archdeaconry) Data protection Audit Southern Archdeacons’ residential; 1. Book venue and accommodation (sometime book their own) 2. Invite the southern Archdeacons 3. Record replies 4. Take any payments needed and record 5. Type up the agenda/ schedule What will you get? A fantastic pension benefit in that the DBF contributes 18% of the monthly salary, with an additional contribution by employees, matched by the Church up to an additional 3% of their salary.
