Brook Street are recruiting for their esteemed public sector client in Watford Hours of work- 9-5 Mon - Fri Contract- temporary Salary- £11.60 Provide an accurate, efficient and effective administrative support to the line manager. Work as directed or using own initiative as the situation demands. Key Accountabilities 1. Administration of rosters and timesheets. 2. Accurately update systems, databases and records as required including opening/closing works orders where directed. 3. Support the administration of the Assessment in The Line process. 4. Set up and maintain efficient filing systems for the Section(s) paying particular attention to confidentiality where necessary and also those documents deemed to be safety critical. 5. Undertake general office administration duties for the Section Manager using a range of knowledge and skills to provide effective support. 6. Provide support and assistance to other Section Administrator positions as directed. Duties include but are not limited to: Preparing, sorting or indexing files papers, briefs and statistics. Writing and dispatching routine or straightforward letters. Drafting papers, orders, certificates, schedules, reports, and letters. Checking (papers, computer output, typing receipts, invoices, and figures). Photocopying documents. Arranging appointments, interviews, conferences, hearing dates, meetings. Administering, making payments. Maintaining records. Ordering and supplying stationery and equipment. Interpreting and applying rules, regulations and procedures against criteria and instructions. Undertaking arithmetic calculations. Operating computer consoles and office equipment. Organisation and planning of duties. Other duties as required. The collection, sorting and delivery of general post and files / papers, both internal and external. Post room duties. - sorting, labelling, filling envelopes, franking post. The successful candidate should have previous admin experience and will be subject to compliance checks including a DBS. Please apply
