PA to the Archdeacons of Dorset and Sherborne To provide administrative support to the Archdeacons of Dorset and Sherborne; to work with the Senior Administrative Secretary to the Bishop of Sherborne to ensure the smooth running of the Sherborne Office. Duties to include; diary management, minute taking, office management, general office duties including updating internal systems and reports, co-ordinating reviews and conferences, venue organisation, supporting with audits and visitors and general administration. Person Specification Good general standard of education Demonstrable experience of providing secretarial and administrative support for senior staff Previous administrative experience of managing a varied and complex workload Previous administrative experience of record keeping and good organisation Experience of managing and organising events Fully competent with Microsoft Office Package including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel Experience of working with data management systems Familiarity in working in a virtual environment using software such as Microsoft 365 and TEAMS, SharePoint, Zoom, webex, Skype etc Adaptable and willing to understand the role of the Archdeacons and respond to their busy workloads Excellent interpersonal skills - able to communicate well to a wide range of people from all walks of life Be prepared to travel in the diocese (mainly Dorset and Salisbury) on occasion Please note that the above duties are only a summary of responsibilities.
