Senior Project Planner/Administrator Perm role, Salary up to £35k pa WAKEFIELD Interaction Recruitment are looking for an experienced Senior Project Planner/Administrator to work for a busy Engineering and Manufacturing company based in Wakefield. Ideally coming from a technical background, your role will be to fully support the Senior Project Manager with all aspects of planning, administrating, and delivering the projects, on time and in full. Key responsibilities for the role include: -Organising and attending internal and external meetings, with minute taking, planning, and reporting responsibilities. -Project planning support to ensure contracts are delivered to specified quality standards within the parameters of ITPs, PDs, OPs etc. -Carry out monitoring and control activities to track/report on the progress of the project. -Booking hotels, travel, parking passes etc. for the project and site teams. -Tracking DBS checking and security clearances, collating essential information and documentation as part of the recruitment and selection processes for the project and site teams. -Identifying and alerting/ escalating risks to the project budget and timeline. -Close liaison with internal stakeholders to ensure adequate planning/delivery of essential elements. -Coordinate and oversee the manning plan for employees and subcontractors. -Communicate adaptively and professionally with clients and external stakeholders. -Provide all manner of administrator support to the senior project manager and site supervisors. -Responsibility for preparation, issuing and control of all QA documentation. -Preparation of site jobs, tools, and consumables. To be considered for this role you must: -Come from a Technical background with experience in either the Mechanical Engineering, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing or Energy sectors. -Self-starter with excellent organisation skills. -Experience of planning the use of people and resources to meet deadlines. -District heating experience would be beneficial. -Have a confident and commanding communication style. -Act with initiative and enjoy problem solving. -Have the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, always willing to go above and beyond, championing Customer Service. -Possess a can-do attitude. -Demonstratable experience of using Microsoft projects and excellent skills in the wider MS package.
