Calling all Senior Quantity Surveyors - we need you An incredible opportunity has opened up for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to spearhead a team of quantity surveyors on a project based in Peterborough. This large 400m joint-venture pipeline project is with my client, an industry-leading Civil Engineering Tier 1 contractor. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience working with Tier 1 contractors as well as previous experience working in the civil and water-utilities sectors. This role is open to permanent candidates and can offer flexible working arrangements. Location: Peterborough Candidate Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Day to day management of the established Commercial team on rail signalling Projects Contract/Commercial Management Cost Management Prepare, validate and agreement of interim and final accounts Prepare monthly reports Complete savings report for internal records Risk Management Estimating Contract Change Control Attending / leading Commercial / Contract meetings Comply with Quality Management Systems, processes and procedures Candidate Requirements: MRICS Accreditation Degree Qualified NEC and or JCT Contract experience Stakeholder management skills Strong negotiation skills Confident communicator Proven experience working with a Tier 1 contractor Proven experience working in the civils and water-utilities sectors APPLY NOW If you are interested in this role, or are a Quantity Surveyor looking at your career options, then please contact Hannah Aspinall at Randstad CPE on 020 3680 0650.
