Location Kensington Gardens Contract Type Permanent - Employee Working Hours per Week 40 hours Remuneration 30,000 - 33,000 Job Reference GR/10576 The Contract Supervisor will support the safe, profitable and efficient operational delivery of the Kensington Gardens Grounds Maintenance contract, supporting the delivery of a range of horticultural maintenance and cleansing activities, in accordance with good horticultural practices. Responsibilities will include: Providing the highest quality service delivery to the customer in accordance with the contract specification through a highly motivated and appropriately trained team of operational staff. Adhering to Company Policies and Procedures at all times. Taking a direct interest in the Health and Safety of yourself, your teams and any others who may be affected by your work activities. Responsibility for staff engaged on out-of-hours and weekend work as required. (on call or involvement in supervisory rota) This may include cover for bank holidays and the Christmas period. Deputising for the Assistant Contract manager Management of the Green waste composting site. Experience required: Education/Qualifications: Formal horticultural qualification e.g. Level 3 Diploma (amenity hort) or RHS or minimum 3 years previous experience Wamitab Qualification Full driving licence Working experience/Personal attributes : Proven experience in a supervisory role. Under pinning knowledge of Health & Safety in the work place. Extensive knowledge and understanding of risk assessment process. Practical understanding of COSHH. Good knowledge of horticultural plant and machinery. What will you get in return?
