We're committed to building better futures and ensuring our colleagues unlock their career potential with us. 2021 has been a strong start to the year so far for St. Modwen As such we are now looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our Logistics team The Purpose Your focus as a Facilities Manager, will be to ensure the effective delivery of property and facilities management services across the Logistics portfolio, while focusing on best customer and brand experience. The Person We are looking for a customer focused, task driven individual - someone who is passionate about creating long lasting and positive experiences across the communities we serve. The new Facilities Manager will be a people person, someone who can see the bigger picture and work with various stakeholders to deliver these targets. You’ll be someone who can work as part of a wider team whilst also working autonomously when required, you’ll own the delivery in the North area so being a driven forward thinker is critical Required Experience Experience dealing with customer concerns effectively Proven knowledge and experience in delivering Health & Safety and dealing with small project works (hard and soft services) Experience dealing with minor works, including CDM Experience of property and facilities management within an industrial and/or logistics setting preferred Key Accountabilities Together with the Property Manager, support Construction Team with any property management issues during construction process, including attendance of Site Wide Coordination meetings Provide input into the service charge process, assisting Property Manager (PM) with the budget process, reconciliations, and overall cost management Ensure regular void unit inspections in compliance with Insurance requirements, and functionality testing to maintain warranties, and statutory, environmental and insurance requirements Ensure regular site inspections to ensure that both pipeline product and estates are presented in the best possible condition, providing our customers best estate experience Health & Safety management and compliance: ensuring that matters relating to site health and safety are fully complied with in terms of statutory provisions, and company policies and procedures. Manage all risk assessments actions and recommendations via Mi.RiSC Support the implementation of our core values and behaviours when engaging with customers - Protect our Brand Support Asset Management (AM) and the Leasing teams in their customer engagement and leasing activities, including handover of building Assist PM and AM with handover of building to customer process, focusing on delivering building in best condition, providing customer with all building and site information and obligations, and post-handover follow up review with customer Implement planned preventative maintenance of buildings and estate before, during and after leasing Actively engage with CRM activities and updating CRM system. Maintain knowledge and adhere to relevant Group Policies and Procedures, Legislation and Regulations Minor works: management of all minor works contracts, including compiling specifications and retendering of works to achieve value for money, whilst still maintaining high standards.
