Summary: Head of Operations - Security & Events Merseyside Direct reports: 7 Contract Managers Location: Field based, Merseyside area Salary: £65,000 plus benefits Who Are We? A large soft FM business with national security contracts are looking for a Head of Operations to deliver contractual operational and financial targets in the Merseyside group of contracts, ensuring full compliance to customer's terms of business, service level agreements (SLA's), health and safety requirements and legislation associated with the delivery of this service. Key Responsibilities: Operational: To ensure sufficient levels of qualified and competent officers are maintained to meet the current and projected future levels of personnel required To identify and introduce appropriate and agreed innovation or improvements in line with client's expectations and vision To identify and introduce ways to improve service delivery that improve cost base and enhance customer/stakeholder satisfaction To ensure all staff work in a professional and safe manner always To be the primary point of contact for all the contract managers within the division for the resolution of operational challenges that cannot be resolved at the contract level Project management responsibility for the mobilisation of new contract wins with a value of under £2m To ensure the operational management teams are compliant with company policies and procedures, thus ensuring the integrity of the data being entered into IT platforms which are used to report on contract performance To create and maintain a unified service delivery methodology for security Qualifications, Skills & Experience: SIA Licensed Excellent understanding of the UK Security industry IOSH Certificate or equivalent Work IT training Excellent communication skills - articulate and focused, proficient written skills, good listener A good people manager, able to motivate and optimise outputs from team members Keen commercial skills with the ability to understand and control a P&L Excellent report writing and presentation skills Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities and deliver to deadlines Excellent IT skills Must hold a full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points
