Mears Housing Management are now looking to appoint a Welfare Operations Manager This is a Full Time Permanent contract, offering a Salary up to £32,500 car benefits Supporting key clients this is a hybrid role with 50% travel across the whole of Yorkshire & Humberside. What will your day look like: As Welfare Operations Manager you will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships amongst partners within the community to solve problems and communicate needs. You will manage a team of Resident Welfare Managers and support the front-line delivery to our service users who may potentially be vulnerable or have a special housing needs. The Welfare Operations Manager will ensure the delivery of an exceptional service and keeps safeguarding at the heart of the service through effective management of incidents, practice and reporting. There will be a requirement for you to be part of an on call rota as an Escalation Manager for frontline operational on call teams. You will also be working out in the field across key areas including Hull, Doncaster, Sheffield, Rotherham, Wakefield and Barnsley. We are looking for a candidate who understands service excellence within corporate responsible environments. You will have a strong background in the development of partnerships/alliance/collaborativeworking, whilst supporting a vulnerable client group. A solid, proactive and self motivated working knowledge and understanding of community engagement and outstanding cultural awareness and building effective relationships at all levels will be your strengths. As you handle multiple tasks in a high volume, rapidly changing environment, your strong customer ethos with heighten sense of empathy will be key to your success. Full Driving license.
