Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Government Contract - Central London - Up to £40,000 Per annum Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in London. My client is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a government commercial building located in Central London. The successful candidate will be electrically qualified / biased (C&G or NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. In return the company are offering a competitive salary, overtime and the chance to work at this very unique and interesting site. Working with the maintenance team on site. He or she will be required to carry out mechanical and fabric maintenance to the following; Monitor mechanical plant Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning) Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing) Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc Monitor the BMS systems Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc) General building fabric Escort specialist sub-contractors Hours of Work & Salary Up to £40,000 Monday to Friday (40 hour week) 07:30am to 16:30pm Overtime available Requirements Mechanical qualifications - NVQ or City & Guilds You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates A proven track record in commercial building maintenance Multi-skilled Good communication skills Able to gain Enhanced DBS/CTC clearance Highly desirable (Not essential) Any further qualifications (i.e. Electrical or Air Conditioning etc) Experience working on a government contract Water treatment (L8) Current or Expired Enhanced DBS/CTC/SC clearance Full driving license
