Are you a Site Engineer looking for long term freelance work on the largest heavy civils schemes in the Country? My client, a principal HS2 contractor, is looking to recruit a Site Engineer with strong Earthworks and Drainage experience to join the scheme in the Banbury area. The role will involve setting out, supervising, and working with sub-contractors. You will be responsible for ensuring timely production of documentation to facilitate access to land parcels. You will also be required to produce daily records that help with the management of the team. Responsibilities: Setting out - able to use level & EDM and GPS Produce Task Briefing Sheets Earthworks Drainage Carry out associated briefings Safety inspections Hazard identification and contribution to development of Safe System Work Checking setting out by subcontractors The provision of sketches detailing access information Maintain survey equipment Read and determine information from drawings, schedules and specifications Produce as-built records for all elements of the works involved in Complete Quality Check Sheets Measure materials used and reconcile with theoretical measures Collect data for Key Performance Indicators Budgeting Skills and Experience: Relevant degree of equivalent in Engineering Experience setting out Previous HS2 experience desirable CSCS card Driving licence Results driven Focus on teamwork and collaboration If interested, please apply online or call the Randstad Birmingham Office on 0[Register to View] and ask for Hannah Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
