Senior Project Manager / Building Surveyor Based in Leeds Your new company are proud to be working in partnership with a key player within the World of facilities management As a result of this we are looking for a superstar candidate with a fabulous personality to lead on this pivotal account for us Your new role As a lead Senior Project Manager, you will have the full autonomy to continue driving this project forward, paired with the capability to build your own team around you. Based on site in Leeds within the hospital (3 days a week with 2 days working remotely) you will be our representative on the ground, forging meaningful client relationships and getting the job done. You will be instrumental in managing the site defect budget, including tendering, project delivery and reporting. Alongside this you will also be responsible for assisting the projects team with delivery of SPV and Trust instructed work. You will - Effectively manage a substantial defects budget, interacting regularly with the Account Manager and Estates Team Deliver an estimating function to apply best practice Review specifications provided by the Client or Estates Team to ensure best service is delivered Work with the Operational Estates Team to develop and deliver site services through proactive project management Attend stakeholder meetings Tender, tender review and present findings Be the key interface between us and the Client, ensuring the highest levels of customer service and professionalism are demonstrated Do your upmost to ensure health and safety are paramount - Health and Safety Management (Safety First) Tender, tender review and present findings What you'll need to succeed In a nutshell we are ideally looking for a Senior Project Manager who has experience in Building Surveying If you also have experience within mechanical and electrical engineering (M&E) that would be the icing on the cake Degree qualification in either Building Surveying or Project Management Minimum of 5 years relevant experience Exceptional stakeholder management skills Experience of dealing with building defects and applying your knowledge to successfully rectify them Previous experience of working within facilities management and/or a hospital setting is preferred but not essential Ideally had exposure of working both main contractor and consultancy side Building services knowledge and experience Experience with CAD and MS Project Budget control experience essential H&S experience with SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH qualification HTM Technical knowledge is desirable but not essential What you'll get in return Flexible working options available.
