Have good knowledge and understanding of construction works including the programme / planning requirements needed within delivery. Daily interaction with Project Managers / Site Managers ensuring compliance is met in advance, during and throughout the lifecycle of any construction activity. Coordinate all documentation to support the delivery of the project including the management of all online supporting documentation. Interpretation and understanding of requirements leading to placement of orders for approval. Responsible for material deliveries from placement of order to delivery of materials ensuring all requirements are met. Following the delivery of any items, collate all delivery notes, check against delivery plans and return / liaise with the finance department confirming deliveries ahead of any payments. Assist in carrying out any inspections, audits and investigations when required and identify and promote best practice across the business unit. Attend weekly project meeting working with the project managers to assess any requirements linked to the programme in advance of any planned works. Attend subcontract meetings as required to support the project team. Support the Project Manager in driving and the implementation of improvements within the business unit. Attend induction training and any other training identified to support the role as and when required Gain experience and knowledge of relevant legislation and industry practice. Be competent in use of computer-based systems and familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel. As technical coordinator, you will be based on site to assist the project team in the day-to-day delivery of the project and have key attributes as below - Has the ability to work within a team environment. The ability to motivate yourself to perform and complete specific tasks Good planning and time management skills. Ability to contribute to meeting standards and specifications. Basic knowledge of construction practices and standards. Good writing, analytical and problem-solving skills.
