Morgan Sindall Infrastructure is part of Morgan Sindall Group plc, a leading UK construction and regeneration group with revenue of over £3 billion. www.morgansindallinfrastructure.com Responsibilities: Assist the SHEQ team in recording of statistics, accident records and general safety related documentation for producing detailed reports Liaise with HR and training manager to ensure compliance with training Requirements Collate monthly KPI's (including AFR, Training Hours and Daily Briefings) to produce a variety of reports Maintain a register of certification and renewal dates for Safety related training including CSCS/CPCS and occupational health information Maintain a comprehensive file of all accident and incidents Attend and minute monthly senior managers safety meetings Arrange a variety of safety related training courses for operatives and staff including tunnel safety card, confined space and first aid at work Schedule senior manager inspections and track for completion General administrative assistance to the Health and Safety Manager and advisors Requirements: Technical member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (TechIOSH) or general NEBOSH certificate or working towards Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation Some experience in construction or civil engineering techniques in a complex and highly regulated major project environment (desirable) Construction or civil engineering industry experience and in particular CDM requirements in the role of principal contractor (desirable) Some knowledge of risk management (desirable) Some knowledge of occupational health and behavioural based safety (desirable) About our Nuclear business unit: Joining a growing, innovative and more than anything friendly team, you’ll be able to play your part as well as develop and learn from colleagues.
