Ignata Finance Group are working exclusively with an international, PE-backed business that has seen huge growth across the UK and Europe in the last 3 years. The company has made a number of large-scale acquisitions in the last 18 months, and due to this growth is now looking to add to the Group FP&A team by appointing a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, in a newly created role. About the role The FP&A Manager will work closely with the Group FP&A Manager to provide support to finance leadership teams across all divisions of the business, in the UK and Europe. Whilst the role has regular core duties, a significant amount of time will be spent on projects relating to business growth and market development. Work with the Group FP&A Manager and wider finance community to deliver the Group budgets, forecasts, and related models/commentary Develop internal relationships to generate knowledge and understanding of 'best-practice' models and working methods Prepare weekly performance forecasts and related commentary where applicable Create insightful analysis on the Group and its divisions for use by leadership and commercial teams Work with the wider business to understand trading performance and provide ‘value-add’ insight Act as a point of knowledge for Group Finance on commercial activities across the Group Support the delivery of ad hoc projects, relating to M&A and ERP system improvement Reviewing and researching potential acquisition targets. Reviewing due diligence, financing, and related acquisition documentation. Ad hoc financial modelling and analysis. What we're looking for: This position is a development role for an individual with aspirations to be a future finance leader. The Group Finance Team is seen as a talent-development area within the business and has a track record of promoting people into divisional leadership roles. We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate the following: Qualified Accountant, ideally gained in a Big 4 or Top 10 Firm Adaptable, determined and enthusiastic for new challenges Experience of financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting and analysis would be highly beneficial Strong technical skills A willingness to devise, implement and improve financial and operational processes Well-organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task Excellent interpersonal skills, including good oral and written communication skills Good influencer with an ability to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels
