Elvet Recruitment have been appointed to recruit for a Cost Administrator to join a construction business in Birmingham. Working for a Leading International Infrastructure Business, this role has been created to provide professional, finance site support services to project teams to support operational delivery and ensure accurate project costs. Responsibilities include To provide project finance support to a high-profile major project within the division, working closely with finance and non-finance colleagues To provide effective financial control in accordance with Project policies Charging of all recoverable costs to the project Collation of audit evidence Assisting in allocation of costs to site from plant yard Support Cost Supervisors with meetings with project managers Ensure accurate costing, by posting journals, understanding processes, and communicating issues to site Perform finance project reconciliations Reporting of project costs Experience Candidates must have previous experience working in a finance team in the construction industry Good numeracy & IT Skills: MS Office packages Previous experience working in a finance team, construction sector or projects experience preferred but not essential Able to pick up processes quickly Good numeracy & IT Skills: MS Office packages including Excel skills Salary £25,000 per annum For further information contact Maisie Clark at Elvet Recruitment This is a permanent position and Elvet Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf of our client.
