We are looking for a Senior Manager in our GCOO COO Oversight Team, with responsibilities for overseeing and working closely with key Transformation and control enhancement programmes across GCOO. The role will be a great opportunity to shape the newly created Group Operational Risk Team within CCOR. This is a fast-paced and dynamic team, responding to business challenges in real time and providing insightful opinions for strategic level committees. What you'll be doing Oversight of key risks within the design, delivery and operation of strategic programmes, ensuring accurate and timely management of risk profile impacts, including tracking of enterprise risks (including: operational, technology, conduct, compliance and people risks) Deliver high quality insightful reporting to senior management; including real-time and retrospective opinions to enhance risk management quality and direct influencing of strategic outcomes. Collaborate with and challenge senior managers across the GCOO and the three Lines of Defence to ensure the strategic projects are supported with expert knowledge and guidance on risk and control. Ensure that lessons are learned from past strategic initiatives (such as GSR3) in the shaping and delivery of our next focus areas. Support the interlock of COO strategic priorities with associated programmes e.g. Risk Transformation and End to End Accountability Programmes (Risk Division). Identify critical areas of risk exposure within COO that requires focus and evaluation and be confident to ensure actions are developed to mitigate Help to embed LBG culture and leadership by role modelling behaviours You'll be confident operating within a matrixed responsibility model; successfully influencing and working collaboratively with a complex suite of stakeholders Act as a proactive risk leader, developing data-driven risk insight and demonstrating credible risk judgment. And the skills/background you'd possess An established risk senior manager, the role holder will have detailed experience of Risk Management Frameworks (inc 1RCSA) and breadth of knowledge across financial services industry; with understanding of emerging technologies and data capabilities; and the risks and impacts associated with each. Significant experience in conducting risk oversight, specifically change/execution/technology inc Agile Methodologies Strong articulation and communication skills, driving clear identification of risks, controls and actions.
