Conducts the financial and accounting operations of the organization. Prepares, collects and interprets financial information; prepares budgets, reports, forecasts and statutory returns; conducts financial analyses of proposals, investments and fund sources; manages the organization's taxation affairs; manages cost accounting systems and cash flow; conducts audits; controlls treasury and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. Analyzes financial and business performance leveraging key indicators, develops and evaluates forecasts, to determine actions required to maximize shareholder return. Collects, models and analyzes financial statement and operational performance data with a view to identifing trends and actions. Analyzes P&L, cash flow and operational metrics. Participate in month-end processes, including preparation of journal entries, deferral and amortization of costs, reporting and reconciliation of associated balance sheet accounts. Perform analysis of monthly expenses. Provides financial analysis for business/function and strategic plans, budget and forecast processes. Monthly reporting of financials to Senior Mgmt where you will assist managers in understanding their financials and highlight major concerns and provide suggestions for mitigating any issues. Provide audit support for internal and external auditors to ensure all information is provided in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure all investment capital expenditures/amortization related questions are addressed completely and timely. Maintain detailed understanding of internal customer requirements and develop processes that will meet or exceed these requirements. Develop thorough understanding of interdependencies of all P&L line items and profitability drivers. Ensure all financial and accounting records are thoroughly maintained and complete in preparation for independent audits. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree Required • 7 years’ experience in accounting - Required Or • Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.- Required • Comprehensive technical accounting skills. • Knowledge of finance modules of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, PeopleSoft. • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. • Strong analytical and numeracy skills. • Ability to identify financial issues, develop and execute mitigating actions. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Strong influencing skills. • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.
