Description Summary of role An exciting opportunity to be the face of Group Procurement and lead on procurement for the ZPG Group. As Head of Procurement for the ZPG Group of companies, which includes well-known UK brands, Zoopla, Uswitch, Confused.com, Money.co.uk (and other subsidiaries) you will be responsible for co-ordinating ZPG’s procurement strategy, process and policies to support ZPG business and strategic objectives. Reporting to the Executive Director – Finance, the Head of Procurement will be responsible for identifying and maximising cost savings across the Group by streamlining and rationalising contractual arrangements. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring partners and suppliers are operating within agreed contractual terms. The deliverables of this role include cost savings, identification of synergies across the ZPG Group and an efficient, streamlined Group procurement process. This is a highly visible role in a fast paced, demanding, private equity led tech business and is critical to ensure the business meets its objectives. Key responsibilities: Maximising value for ZPG by (i) realising and delivering cost savings; (ii) exploring further value through building relationships and understanding; (iii) identifying additional benefits including improved contractual performance, quality of service and total cost of performance, together with risk management Maximising profit by tendering contracts to negotiate the best terms for value for money Developing and implementing the procurement process within ZPG and its subsidiaries Developing and managing the relationship of procurement with the wider business, including Tech, Facilities and Marketing (significant procurement areas) Leading, supporting and managing the tendering process for large strategic contracts Responsible for the negotiations on key supplier contracts Working collaboratively with Group Finance on ZPG forecasts, where procurement has an impact Managing the procurement governance process across the business ensuring policy compliance Supporting business operations to resolve SLA breaches of contract and providing guidance for resolutions Understanding of partner supplier terms to ensure (i) contractual obligations are met; and (ii) to ensure best service/partner provision Identifying themes/areas for enhanced contractual commitments Identifying and over-seeing ad-hoc investigations of issues identified internally or externally.
