Opportunity description exciting opportunity has arisen with a Global Management Consultancy based in London. Our client is looking for a Finance Manager to join the EMEA Finance Team. The EMEA Finance organization is a team of approximately 70, primarily UK based, with accounting teams also based in Germany, Dubai, and Spain. This role will suit an experienced Finance Manager who is familiar with US GAAP reporting and compliance with SOX procedures. The Finance Manager will have 4 direct line reports and be responsibility for the statutory audit of 14 UK and Ireland entities. To be considered for this role: Degree level qualification Qualified Accountant with 5-7 years post qualified experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Team management experience Experience managing external auditors Experience of performing month end close process Good attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve reconciliation issues Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work remotely and interact with colleagues via Teams, email US GAAP or IFRS experience desired Familiarity of reporting into US listed entity desired FRS102 experience desired FCA reporting experienced desired The key responsibilities of the role are as follows: Monthly Accounting Close - manage the team to Prepare and post journal entries including payroll reports from external payroll agencies Prepare and manage prepaid expenses and expense accrual schedules Prepare and post journal entries Manage intercompany loan schedules and record monthly interest accruals Perform inter-company reconciliations for multiple EMEA entities Preparation of general ledger account reconciliations in line with SOX requirements, Oversee Fixed Asset register Assist with the review and approval of journals and balance sheet reconciliations prepared by direct reports Assist EMEA Finance team in the enhancement of month-end processes Statutory Audit Process - Point of contact for the external auditors. Prepare and finalise the filing of annual statutory accounts FCA reporting for one entity Prepare other Statutory audits for other EMEA entities Other compliance Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, annual VAT returns Reconciliation of VAT If you meet to above mentioned criteria, please apply below.
