Your role The Risk & Capital Management team, part of our wider Risk Advisory practice, is focussed on risk frameworks and prudential regulations (covering, e.g., credit risk, market risk, liquidity/ funding related risks) as well as structural reform related change. You will work on leading and delivering engagements at high profile financial institutions to interpret, impact assess and manage change in relation to regulatory and business change. You will work as part of a team and in close collaboration with clients. Having the right attitude is essential for success in our team, and in our firm. In addition to external client engagements, we expect you to play an active part in business and team development activities. The extent to which you can lead though leadership activities while balanced against your client commitments. Responsibilities As a manager, you will be responsible for: Detailed understanding of Banking & Capital Markets regulations and translating these into technical guidance tailored for client specific situations (examples include Basel, CRR and CRD, etc.) Managing end-to-end client projects and resource management, overall project management including contracting and budget management Performing current state versus target state gap assessments Designing, executing and embedding fit for purpose solutions to meet regulatory requirements Managing and developing client relationships Supporting sales activities and marketing initiatives, including preparation of proposals for prospective clients and client presentations Undertaking learning and development activities to ensure your own professional development Your work, your choice At Deloitte we believe the best impact is the value we add, not the hours we sit at our desk. The role will be worked on a full-time basis. Your professional experience To qualify for this role, you must have the following: Experience in a relevant Consulting, Regulatory, Risk Management, Finance or Treasury Change role (including banking graduate schemes) Graduate degree or relevant professional qualification, e.g., Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Accountant, Financial Risk Management A broad familiarity with prudential regulatory frameworks and/ or a working understanding of structural reform concepts/ regulatory drivers You must also be able to demonstrate the following: Strong verbal and written communication skills (this includes strong PowerPoint, and Excel skills) Highly motivated, with a proven ability to work on own initiative within a challenging and dynamic working environment Strong team player with good organisation and planning skills Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build confidence and respect across client levels Your service line: Risk Advisory In Risk Advisory, our thinking and actions give clients, our people and society the confidence to grow responsibly in a rapidly changing world.
